Creating standalone Mama programs

Mama lets you create standalone programs to be ran by other users without having to install Mama environment. To create a standalone program, click the Exe button at the top of the toolbar - a dialog box will let you enter a directory name, in which Mama will put the standalone executable.

Note that all the files required to run the standalone executable are located in the created folder. When you give your standalone to another user to run it, you should pack and submit the whole folder.

The standalone program assumes Java 1.6 and above is installed on the client computer. It will search for a Java runtime on the computer, and will use it once found. Otherwise, it will prompt the user for downloading Java from the Sun's website.
